Schoch Dairy & Creamery ("we", "us", "our") runs schochdairy.com. This page explains what the site collects, which is very little, who handles it, and what you can do about it. Plain English, no lawyer-speak.

What we collect
Nothing you type into this site. There are no forms, no accounts, no email list and no chat on schochdairy.com. If you email or call us, we get what you choose to send, and we use it only to reply.
When you visit the site, our host records standard server logs (the page you asked for, your browser type and your approximate location) to keep the site running. We do not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels or any other tracking scripts.
The map on the Visit page loads its tiles from OpenStreetMap, so your browser sends your IP address to their servers the same way it would for any picture on the web. The map code itself is loaded from the unpkg content network.
Links to Facebook and Instagram take you off this site. Their privacy policies apply once you are there.
Cookies and browser storage
_cfuvid, set by our host's network (Webflow, through Cloudflare), keeps your connection stable while you browse. It is deleted when you close your browser.
That is the only cookie. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, and no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
Who handles the data for us
- Webflow hosts the site.
- Seen Retail (seenretail.com) built the site and maintains it.
- OpenStreetMap serves the map tiles on the Visit page.
- unpkg serves the map code on the Visit page.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
- Emails you send us: as long as we need them to reply and follow up, then they are deleted from our inbox.
- Server logs: as long as Webflow keeps them, typically around 12 months.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what we have about you, correct it or delete it. Email schochcreamery@gmail.com and we will answer within 30 days. You do not need to give a reason.
If you live in California, Oregon or Washington, the same rights apply to you under your state's privacy law. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. If you think we have not handled a request properly, you can also contact your state attorney general.
Children
This site is for everyone, but we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. There is nothing on the site to collect it with.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. We use standard practices to protect what little we hold, but no system is perfectly secure and we cannot promise zero risk.
Changes to this policy
If we ever add a form, a newsletter or analytics, we will update this page first and change the date at the top.
